Dan Shugar
Guitar

Dan Shugar, aka Shug, is a six-string sorcerer, conjuring sonic spells that ignite the soul and move the body. Shug says “I just follow Veda and it all works out” and that “making music with Sweet Voodoo is my favorite elixir and endorphin generator; we give folks a delicious groove fever for which there is no known antidote”.

Leslie Heinrichs
Bass Guitar and Backup Vocals

Leslie Heinrichs adds her talented backup vocals, along with carrying the bottom end for the band on bass. Leslie was born and raised in San Jose, CA, then lived in Austin, TX for 17 years. She's performed all over the states live, playing in an all-female Journey tribute band, a No Doubt tribute, an Alanis Morissette tribute, and a 90’s rock cover band, along with numerous other groups. Currently, Leslie is the bassist for a national touring artist, the George Michael Reborn tribute band. Her smile and bass-playing light up the world!

Jurgen Krehnke
Keyboards & Guitar

Jurgen Krehnke has been playing keyboards on small to large stages in Europe, US and Central America since his teen years, which gives him solid 20 years of live music experience, give or take 25. More recently he is also doing duty on rhythm guitar, mostly to get extra credit while on stage. Covering blues, rock, funk, soul, pop or whatever other style needs backing and color, he gets his kicks out of a happy, dancing audience. Every single time.

Seth Baron
Drums

From Los Altos Hills, CA. Dropped on the kitchen floor in 1964. Found a 2 quart saucepan and wooden spoon appealing and it cost my parents nothing - until later. After beating my piano to death with real drumsticks at the age of 11, the choice was made. There was no going back. Yes, Genesis, Rush, Marching Band, Zep, Van Halen all had a huge influence on me and dashed any hopes of a normal life with babies, computers or adult responsibilities of any kind, except learning the next riff or tunes for rehearsal. Frankie Dee
Drums

Frankie Dee is a solid groove drummer who has been playing since childhood, starting in his father’s Marin County family band, Deepstone Drive, when he was in the 4th grade. Known for playing off the emotions and feel of the band, he spent 2011–2025 behind the kit for the infamous Billy Martini Show. He later connected with members of Redwood Groove while performing with local group The Swagtones, sparking a collaborative passion project and bringing his solid rock and rhythm to the Santa Cruz music scene. Now drumming for Sweet Voodoo, Frankie brings that signature groove and lifelong love of rhythm to the band.”
